I had the pleasure of heading to Kauai a couple of weeks ago to photograph this wonderful couple on their wedding day. I also had the pleasure of brining my husband along with me to celebrate our two year anniversary back at the location where it all began. I know, sounds rough right? Well for those of you with daggers aimed at me, I am now chained to my desk playing a little game of catch up while you go out and frolic in the gorgeous Seattle sun—can we call it even?
The location of this glorious event was the Waimea Plantation on the west side of the island. It made for a fantastic back drop, not only because it is part of a tropical island, but also because it is one of the only locations you can really see the sunset (and we definitely took advantage of this nifty feature). I must thank the family and friends for being so warm and welcoming, I almost forgot I was working…almost. :)
It was an intimate gathering filled with many tears and so much love. This is just a sneak peek into the wonder of their day. It was an absolute challenge narrowing down the selection. I feel that 20 images cannot do this wedding justice, but at least it’s a start! Thank you again for bringing me on your incredible journey. I hope this can hold you over until I am finished with all of the captured memories of your day.
