• I have a B.A. in journalism from the University of Washington and an A.A. in photography from the Art Institute of Seattle.
• My first "official" photography class was in Florence, Italy.
• I'm a complete night owl which has led to one serious Law and Order addiction.
• I regularly listen to NPR/KCRW.
• I'm addicted to my iPhone.
• I believe the cancellation of "Arrested Development" was a major crime.
• I have a serious relationship with coffee. It's the forever kind of love.
• I'm a Nikon girl. My D3 is my baby.

The Ballard Beat

This couple lives in and loves Ballard, so we hit the streets and the Locks on this hot, hot day! (Trust me, I’m not complaining. I will take Seattle sun whenever we can get it, but man was it hot!) We walked, sat, sprawled, leaned, sunk (in some beach/mud), and laughed a lot. It was an easy-going and entertaining session. As always, I loved this chance for us to get to know a bit more about each other, all while playing in the sunshine and creating engagement art. I am so looking forward to their wedding this fall at the zoo. Thank you for the escape from my photo cave!
