This story begins with a bride planning her wedding. She finds me as one of the numerous vendors she will need to interview, sets up an appointment, and is as surprised as I am to find out we went to high school together. I know that having a connection with the photographer was important to her, so needless to say, here I am! Ali and I had a fabulous time working with both the bride and groom on their day. We started downtown to get ready, they shuttled us all (yes, they rented a party bus to take the family, bridal party, and photographers from one place to another—I highly recommend considering this for photos off site of your venue) to Gasworks Park for photos, and then dropped us off at the lovely Lake Union Cafe for all of the festivities. The event was full of beautiful jewel tones, complimentary cigars, tons of champagne, henna body art, a lot of laughs, and most importantly, so much love. I am happy to say that I now consider this old-school volleyball acquaintance and her fantastic husband as great friends and look forward to what life has in store for them. Enjoy!
