West Seattle Style

It all starts with a West Seattle couple (well, she convinced him to ditch Belltown for West Seattle–that counts!) who chose a West Seattle venue (the Sanctuary at Admiral–intimate, artsy, unique, and now a historical landmark!). They used flowers from their West Seattle neighbor’s garden, picked beautiful West Seattle locations for photos, and hired a photographer (that’d be me) who actually lives in West Seattle.  All of this West Seattle style came together to create an absolutely fabulous, non-traditional celebration of love.  There wasn’t a bouquet toss, cake cutting, or processional, but there was a cocktail hour before the ceremony so the couple could welcome their guests (and get the celebration started).  There also wasn’t the traditional wedding buffet, but there were delicious family style meals provided by Herban Feast, which required table mates to “pass the lamb” and interact throughout their meal (yes, we know who had seconds and thirds:))  So what about the music, you might ask?  Well, the bride’s aunt played her violin for the ceremony, and rather than using a DJ, this couple chose a live band that rocked the night away (CFO, check them out-they were unbelievable!)  It was such a wonderful celebration.  Thank you again for allowing us to be a part of your day!
