I packed the car and headed to Idaho for this family shoot of three generations. The weather was not really on our side, but everyone was gathered at the family lake property so rain or no rain, we were going to make it work! Luckily, everyone was on board and ready for some fun (or at least as fun as photos can be). Clearly this is a family that actually enjoys spending time together, so lucky me, I was able to step back and just let them crack each other up. There might have been a little help here and there from some coffee doused with irish cream, but for the most part, the joy you see in the photos is the true joy being had. It was such a treat to capture these moments and I look forward to enjoying their company and their beautiful property again when the warmth of the sun returns (hopefully) to Washington.
